We created the Indoor Cat Initiative to enrich the lives of indoor cats. We believe that indoor enrichment is as important as an excellent diet and health care. To that end, we have provided the areas listed on the left side of this page to explain what it means to be a cat, help get you off to the right start, introduce you to the things indoor cats need, help you troubleshoot problems, and show you where to get more information. We also ask you to help us by filling out a questionnaire to help us learn more about indoor cats, their needs, and problems.

The Vaccine-Associated Feline Sarcoma Task Force (VAFSTF) was formed in November 1996 in response to the increased incidence of soft tissue sarcomas occurring at vaccination sites.  The goals of the VAFSTF are to facilitate investigation of the epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, treatment, and prevention of these malignancies, as well as to disseminate information to veterinarians and the cat-owning public.
